We hold our usual SEMantics events at The Tempest in Brighton:

We usually start at 6pm, talks usually start between 6:15pm – 6:30pm with opportunity for questions after each talk. There are usually two talks. Then, food and drink is served and we have a chat and a social. We usually wrap up around 9pm but some SEMantics attendees stay longer or head out to another pub.
Tickets are FREE but you do need to sign up prior to the event so we can keep an eye on capacity. You sign up through our website which will take you over to Eventbrite where we manage the event listing.
We usually offer house wine, house beer and a choice of soft drinks and or water.
When the venue’s kitchen is open we work with them to provide a nice spread of snack style food with some chips and things like that. We try to have a range of options to suit dietary requirements and people’s preferences.
Absolutely. Just let us know beforehand and we will do our best to provide a catering option for you 🙂

Yes, please do! Just grab another ticket beforehand. Tickets are available right up to the event!
No! There is no dress code, normal everyday casual wear is encouraged. Please do be mindful of The Tempest and their dress code rules where we hold the event…. basically don’t turn up in your pants and be surprised if The Tempest don’t let you in.
